Local students harvest and cook their own pizza!

Several graduates from cohort 6 are working with a local non-profit called Rogue Valley Farm to School.  The organization connects local students with local food!  I shadowed one program called Harvest Meals.  I met a group of enthusiastic third graders at Eagle Mill Farm.  With the help of some friendly and knowledgeable leaders we harvested, learned about, prepared, and ate delicious fruits and vegetables.

All Environmental Education graduates are required to complete 60 hours of internship work.  Farm to School is one of many options in the Ashland area!
