Come out to Bear Creek Park in Medford this Saturday, October 13th from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.to learn about our local watershed! Discover the wonderful world of macroinvertebrates (aquatic insects) in the streams of Bear Creek. View these little critters up close and personal and find out what they can tell us about the health of the creek.
FREE event encouraging youth ages 8-14 to attend.
No experience needed.
Stream sampling, exploration, instruction, and MORE!
Breakfast, snack, and field equipment supplied.
Bring footwear and clothes to get wet.

Meet at the Bear Creek Park entrance off of Highland Drive near the skate park.
Directions to the park:
From I-5 take exit 27 past Barnett Rd.,
then straight on Highland Dr. and take first left.
Pickup at 1:15 pm at same location at Bear Creek Park.
